You will be working with customers as a Linux administrator / CDN to maximise bandwidth for access to the data from clients throughout their network. You will need to be very strong on Linux, how it works, its commands and working across boxes.
You should be proficient with shell scripting.
You should also have a solid understanding of how the internet works.
You will be dealing with customers’ daily so good customer experience and problem solving is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity; you will be working with high profile European multimedia companies for example Sky and the BBC.
Your skill set:
Strong background in Linux.
You will be a problem solver with a strong work ethos.
Really desirable:
Ideally you will have come from a background where you were working with minimum 50 servers and you were administering those servers at a high level.
You will also have experience with CDN.
Strong communication skills.
The learning curve in this position is quite steep but excellent training will be provided which will enable you to take your skill set to the next level.
This is a Tier 2 support role which includes evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu).”

А подоходный налог, если кто не в курсе, – от 20 до 41%. И ещё минус отчисления в пенсионный фонд. По-моему, кто-то из нас слегка офигел.
